I still am not that good at drawing growling and snarling wolves out of my head. I almost always have to heavly reference them... like this one. Sadly, I am not even sure who originally took the image. :/ So yeah, reference used. Pencil drawing/sketch.

OMG Toyger by Chenneoue

OMG YAY!!! Somehow my Sumatran Tiger character has been more often in Toyger form then full tiger. Hrm... Ah well. It's fun to make none the less. Done in Adobe Photoshop 5.5 with tablet. Some references were used.

Ok so well WH is changing, and other species are being allowed in the private rooms for now. Sooooooo... I had to have a cat pose! Tada! A Sumatran Tiger, with weird markings.. :o And of course it has the arm band and dog tag cause that’s what I wear... and its my personal char... so yeah... Anyhow, I don't have a name, and like many of my recently personal characters, it will probably stay that way. :/ But feel free to throw some names at me. :) All done in Adobe Photoshop 5.5 with tablet. Wooooooo! Digital all the way! :p

Wanted to do some experimenting, and since my old character came up, thought it was a good time to revisit her. :) Meet Mimaywolf, she has had a lot of varying markings, but this is the basic idea. Wow this brings back memories. Anyhow, this is completely digital, no pencil sketch! It defiantly an interesting experience, but I feel it lacks something that my pencil sketches have. Ah well. Its not so bad for like my second recent attempt to do art completely digital. :) Done in Photoshop 5.5 with tablet.

Woooooo! Finally got around to doing my second attempt at digitaly coloring/painting this wonderfull sketch. Back Off by Chenneoue

That’s right you heard me!!!! D:< LOL. Anyhow. I wasn't really planning on getting that detailed with it...but well it sort of kind of happened that way. I did use a few references, the one I used the most is from a book called "Wild", and the photo is by Art Wolfie. So, there you go! Drawn on 8 by 11" drawing paper. Did over the course of 3 days, took maybe a few hours to actually do... maybe? I am personally selling prints of this at $10 each ($8 each additional) on 8 by 11" sized Gloss photo paper. Just and FYI.

Wolf Vision - WIP by Chenneoue

Because I am bored, and I stared doing this for a new banner for my SL store. Though it was good. Hehe, I cheated and stole my own texture for wolf eyes to make the eyes on this. I'll get around eventually put in some fur. By the way, this is the same base I used for Wolf Visions (Chenneoue). Its wierd when I color I loss a lot of the basic structure. :/ Ah well, this will be more practce.

x.o Done in about 3 hours! Wanted to do something for myself. Plus I had this old great sketch laying around of some wolf eyes that just needed to be colored. Still not exactly how I wanted it to turn out... But ah well. Need to practice with more realistic styles of coloring. Done in Adobe Photoshop 5.5 with tablet, in roughly 3 hours.

Used reference for the skeleton from "Wildlife Painting Basics: Wolves, Foxes, and Coyotes" by Jan Martin McGuire.

One of the special projects I've been trying to work on. And got myself to sit down and finish it. Though I am not 100% satisfied, I think it will work.... the background lighting and the character lighting dont exactly match, but the BG was a last minute thing I threw in there...to have ja know.. a BG!!! omg.
